Whitewave is a The Sims 2 neighborhood I have been playing since 2017. I first played just for fun and had no real intent on taking pictures of this hood, but as I fell in love with the families and sims I started recording their lives. Whitewave is in constant state of change: it has gone through several name changes and I've moved the central neighborhood from one subhood to another. This is not a legacy or a BACC, but I do use some elements from those challenges; I play very traditionally, and rotate the households in rounds that last one sim week.

These pictures were first posted to my tumblr, but I'm slowly moving and reformatting them to Dreamwidth for easier viewing. Also, these posts include some pictures that were never posted to tumblr. All posts have been tagged by household as well as round.

You can follow the links at the bottom of each post to go forward chronologically. Sometimes there's two options: The first link will take you to the next family, while the second one will take you to the next round of the current family you're reading.

The Commune IV

Since Greta is giving birth soon, Greta and Johnny sneak out for a quick engagement and marriage, and Greta takes Johnny's name, becoming Greta Mills. Not long after she gives birth to their first child, Johnny.

This round is full of birthday and births: Mia's son Milo grows up to a toddler, and Johnny follows right behind him. And Soon Greta gives birth to Johnny's little sister, Jenny. The round ends with Milo and Johnny having grown up to children, while Jenny has become a toddler.

Donna reaches the top of the slacker career track, and is now a professional party guest! Since she really has no interest in relationships or family of her own, she acts as a sort of big sister to Johnny and Milo, and the three are very good friends.

In minor stories: The kitchen catches fire, but luckily Donna works fast and takes the toddler Jenny out of the house, before proceeding to freak out about the fire. Also, Grace Farwood, who is a good good friend to the whole commune, visits often, despite having small children of her own. She even spends the night, sleeping in Donna's bed.

Mia, as a romance sim, has managed to romance an actual vampire. At the end of the round the Mia is turned into a vampire as well.

Farwood household II

Soon after their wedding, Grace becomes pregnant for her and Loren's first child. The entire round for Grace is all about focusing on her pregnancy and looking after the newly-borns, while Loren focuses on his job and getting promotions.

Lemon, is the first child to be born to the family! She looks remarkably much like Loren, and is all and all a very funky looking toddler. At the end of the round, her little sister Apple is born, and Lemon grows up to a child.

I didn't use any age mods at this point, which is why Lemon was able to grow up from a baby to a child during one round (one round for me is 1 sim week).

Rogan household I

Kevin Rogan was a new addition to the neighborhood, and he quickly started dating Dana Limestone. Their relationship advanced pretty quickly. They soon moved in together to the house Kevin owned, got engaged and bought a dog! The dog's name is Bob! ♥

Their neighbors Grace and Loren Farwood often came over for dinner, and as you may notice, it looks like Grace was already pregnant...

Limestone household IV

The focus at the Limestone house was on the family. There were only few pictures taken around this time, but Rayna grew up to a teen, Storm grew up to a child and Rosa went through toddlerhood to childhood. Their mother Bea got a makeover, which instead of making her look more mature managed to age her down even more!

Also, Bea's younger sister Dana found a boyfriend!

The Commune III

Alan moved in to the Abandoned Factory building, and Greta was very happy about it. He got a little room for himself to set up an architecture office in.

Donna dated Karola the bartender for a while, but in the end the two decided to continue on as friends. Donna then met Miina the doppelgänger, and took her out on a date. For now, the two have remained as friends.

Mia continued on with her romance aspiration goals, and got pregnant with one of her dates. Milo was born a little after! Greta also turned out to be pregnant!

Mills Household

So if I was asked to name a sims OTP, then these two would be it. Alan and Greta had quickly become very good friends, but at Greta's sister's wedding the two finally fell in love with each other (and I wasn't even playing them!) Soon after the wedding Alan invited Greta over to his apartment, and one thing led to another... ♥

This will be the only Mills household post, and I will tag this also as The Commune, because these events are more relevant to those posts.

Farwood household I

Meet Loren Farwood! He worked in the business career track, although at first he really wasn't doing too well. Loren dated Grace Byway (recently graduated from college), and the two didn't waste any time in starting their life together, and got married!

Limestone household III

At the Limestone household, baby Rayna first grew up into a toddler and soon after into a child! Bea also gave birth to Rayna's baby brother, Storm. On a more sad note, both Nikolai and Barbara were taken away by the grim, and while Nikolai went with a drink in hand, Barbara's passing was more bittersweet.

Dana graduated from college and moved back into the family home. The... thing she had with Alan was good while it lasted, but they broke up already before graduation. So, she has been going on dates, but so far with no luck.

The Commune II

Instead of moving back into the family home, Donna Limestone joined her best friends Mia and Greta at the abandoned factory they had made home for themselves.

Mia's life was filled with her job (the music career) and dates after dates after dates. She doesn't really mind if a few hearts get broken because of her. Donna also found a girlfriend from a bartender at a local restaurant. Greta on the other hand, had no interest in dating. She focused on her friends and her work as a criminal.

The troupe also held parties for their friends quite often, and during one of them Donna took fate in her own hands and persuaded her sister Dana to flirt with their new friend Alan. Dana and Alan weren't close friends yet, but Alan still liked the upfront approach Dana chose, and the two fell in love. Grace didn't seem to agree with it, however.

College II

There's only a few pictures of the second college round, and the pictures were originally scattered around in different household posts, so I had to do some gathering. Anyway!

Dana Limestone starts college, along with the new sim Alan Mills! And even though Greta Byway has already quit college, she still hangs around the campus with her friends. Greta's sister Grace as well as Donna Limestone are graduating ones!

After graduating college, Bea and her fiancée Riki moved back to the Limestone Private Island and settled into the family house. Bea is a science sim and loves to watch the stars, so it's no surprise she was captured by aliens, bringing her back home pregnant. Bea and Riki held a small wedding ceremony before Rayna was born! Also, the youngest sibling Dana also left for college, and that's why she is a young adult during Bea and Riki's wedding!

Mia Lovett was another new sim in Whitewave! She's a romance sim and used to live in a trailer apartment (one of those maxis premade apartment lots). Mia had befriended Greta Byway, who quit college before graduating, so the two decided to be roommates! Mia also made friends of Donna Limestone and Grace Byway.

In order to save money for a bigger place to live in, Greta worked several kinds of little jobs. Eventually the two moved into an old, abandoned factory building!

College I

Bea is the first one of the Limestone children to attend college, and she studies to become a doctor. She starts dating her childhood friend Riki, and during Bea's graduation party Riki proposes to her!

There are some new sims at the college as well! Sisters Greta and Grace Byway start college at the same time as Donna Limestone does. Greta, Grace and Donna make fast friends. Outside of college, Greta also befriends Mia Lovett, who is a new addition the the hood.

Limestone household I

Whitewave started off with the Limestone Private Island main hood, which holds the Limestone household as well as the Limestone Hospital. Even though it's not a legacy or any other challenge, I treat the Limestones as the starter family, and Barbara and Nikolas Limestone as the starter sims. They are, after all, where everything started. Around this time I took very few pictures of my game.

Barbara and Nikolas had three daughters: Bea, Dana and Donna. The sisters all look very similar to each other thanks to first-born syndrome. The one hanging with a boy (Riki!) in the swings is Bea; the one eating a grilled cheese sandwich is Donna; and the one with the flower crown is Dana.

After creating this blog it has definitely fallen unused. So, I've decided to post every single Whitewave gameplay post I've posted on my tumblr.

Two reasons. One, tumblr annoys me to no end. Two, in my more recent Whitewave posts I have posted some 10 pictures at once, while in the beginning I posted from 1 to 3 pictures at once. I prefer the latter style, and I've been wanting to mold the old posts into 10 picture patches as well. And another reason is that I'd like to cross-post my Whitewave posts out here as well.

The main purpose for this blog was to start posting about my simstory Ironwood, but tbh it's still not going to see the light of day any time soon. I'd like to start using this blog more, so here we go!

So, from now on I'll be rearranging my old Whitewave screenshots into rounds and post those pictures accordingly, in approximately 10 pictures per post.

This is simply for testing out the platform and picture posting! Any and every tip for good photo hosting sites is welcome!! I have PB from years ago but I'm not really keen on the idea of starting to use it again.
